Update on the family
Ahmed is back to herding camels. He currently has 25 of his own camels. He is still in debt and is gradually paying it off. Tajmamad oscillates between truck driving and helping his father with the camels. Anwar and Haneef are still at school. Meanwhile, Sakina and Noorbano no longer travel with the men. They area settled and stay in their makeshift huts while Ahmed herds the animals. Hanifa and her husband now live in an urban area with their two children.
